Your notes above and based on our past conversations leads me to believe you are chatting with an agency.  NO PROBLEM.  I support that for you.

With that in mind, allow me to share 2 things.

  • There is always work to be done to make the site better.  Any site better.
  • The strategy we have focused on is not building links, but fixing errors on your site to make it better  – before trying to get others to link to us.
  • Your authority was at a 0 and now you are a 2.  In a short time, that does show improvement.
  • All metrics in the time frame you noted are going up.  PER GOOGLE!!  NOT Josh or my company.  GOOGLE.  
  • Don’t trust someone’s personal metric or an outside tool (like SEM) to give you data.  Google is the one tracking you and you should trust them over ME, or anyone else.

In summary, I am not happy about SEO performance. And it took January, February and March to get set up at $875.00 a month  

In the agreement it says we will take 2-3 months to build this based on feedback from you, changes, style, design, code and more.

 when I thought the $2,000.00 initial fee was for set up.

That I show there was not a 2k charge.  It was 1600 for the starter program which outlined the plan, the core content, pages needed, research, avatar build on more information.  

In addition I strongly recommend that you build a list and reach out directly to each person and we could help.  (if you remember I suggested to build a list, and send them items, letters and other)

 I thought upgrades/changes were being made to increase the above data but as you can see above, activity is going down and although there are some inquiries NO ONE is calling me, sending a message “call me” except one person.  

Per above – Google reports that you are going up.  Actually three programs report you are going up (SEMrush, Search Console and GA4)


Where are you getting different data from?

  I also did not know you invoice in advance. Not a practice I think is usual.   This is a practice used by MANY ad agencies.  Very common.

So, I am writing to say  I would like a reprieve  from further SEO work and monthly billing for  3 months and then start up again.  Maybe the website will get better on it’s own during that time.

In the agreement we have a 45 day cancel.  I currently have you noted to end complete service on Aug 31.  Last payment due is Aug 1. Completing you agreement.  

If you choose to rejoin our program at any time, there is NO start up fee and we would review where you are at and work from there.

My strongest advice… let’s finish our Aug plan (already due per the agreement) and you don’t do anything more with SEO.  You should turn any/ all dollars to getting your name and USP (developed in your starter plan) in front of prospects (strategy outlined in starter plan).
