It was good. Got a couple of leads out of it. It was just kind of funny. Like we just overall, I thought it would be a little bit more busy.

It was a little bit more lax. just like position of where our booth was located, but kind of you live and you learn.

I’d say it is a good show. So we’ll go back next year with, and I was the only one that went.

So we’ll go back with like two, people from the team, then I think we’ll get more out of it, but I’d say overall is pretty good.

Awesome. How did the the little QR code and page end up working out?
Ryan Labus
Was that successful? That was good. People definitely did fill it out. Kind of had to incentivize them that they win a prize.

But there was people who just, again, they don’t even want to take 30 seconds to fill that out. I’m not buying the $700 badge scanner.

Just fill it out and then I’m like, if you don’t have it, give me a business card. And I just manually input some into that based on the business card they hand me.

Some people don’t carry a business card anymore. They just walk in there and they just assume that you’re going to scan the badge.

So I mean, it was took some people’s phone number email down on a notepad. So like a little school written, it’s a big ask for people to, uh, you know, take 30 seconds to put their name from a number and email into a form.

Apparently, I guess so.

Well, I’m glad you got, you know, a handful of buyable leads. Yeah. Excuse me. And like you say, you know, you learned some things that you can use.

It’s just a mindset but it feels like if we could just have one more day.

I think so. really do. Well Josh is still out of the country. I think he’s in a place. I think if I remember correctly he stayed in one place for two weeks and then this week they’re going to be at a resort and so he’s been texting this morning and I’m like okay you know at least there’s we have contact with him.

But otherwise yeah he’s still enjoying his time off and then next week he and I will be you know both here and then the next week I leave.

So it’s just kind of a busy June. Yeah. That’s good.

That’s good to hear. Yes. Um, so do we know for a means coming?

Uh, yeah, it should be.

Okay. So we’ll just hang out for a minute. I don’t really have a whole lot for you guys. Um, we finished adding the banner to the home page.

I know Josh was wanting to add that banner. Um, it’s kind of close to the bottom with a button to the FAQ page.

So that’s, that’s on there now. We’ve got the banners added to the blog posts that will hopefully increase engagement as well because after reading the blog posts itself then, you know, they have the choice of so I think that will be, um, you know, incentive to click through a little bit more.

So those are the two main things I’ve been working on. Let’s see, I know you guys have been busy Ryan with the show when you guys get a chance if you want to send us those the time stamps when you have a chance to go through those podcasts.

I’m not going to lie that podcast is I just I’m sorry I just kind of say that thing is not good.

Is it the one that just shows remains like forehead and eyes?

Yes, and it’s just like I’m sorry I mean I just have to kind of say it like it is like what why like to make a camera angle like just like it’s almost like it could be salvageable if we can like overlay some clips and it’s super candid and it’s like it’s kind of remains forehead for a couple seconds and then it cuts over to like you know stock video.

Of something going on that he’s like on a that he’s explaining, but it’s just not like high quality stuff.

I mean, it doesn’t need to be like, you know, it’s supposed to be casual, but it’s just like Rumiin said the guy just didn’t even tell me was recording and kind of just jumped into it.

I mean, they didn’t really consider like just adjusting the camera angle real quick before they did it. So, I mean, we’re not mad, but we’re just kind of like, cool.

I don’t know what we’re going to do with this.

Well, I would be super frustrated. I was trying to figure out how to word this to you guys in an email when I had opened it, but then I decided to just wait until our phone call.

I honestly think Anastasia needs to know about this because in my opinion, it’s unprofessional. And so she needs to know that whoever she suggested for Rumiin that this is the level or the quality.
Josh Ramsey
That can be expected from this host. I think it’s sort of the host’s responsibility to say, I noticed that your camera’s little high, lower it just a touch.
Josh Ramsey
So I really feel like you guys should let Anastasia know because I think she needs to. And it’s a paid service.
Ryan Labus
So to be offered some sort of compensation or, hey, this next one on me, I don’t know, just feel like you should communicate this to her as well.

I mean, if we watch it and we see the timestamps that we like, it might even be a quick, hey, let’s go back in, ask these questions, get this thing done in 20 minutes.

Now that we know what we want to put into clips, maybe we just have to refill it at a better angle and stuff like that.

I’ll watch, I’ll talk to Amina about it. can definitely, yeah, just get the, I’d say maybe you get the timestamps and then.

You know, we can get a transcript on what we need to say there and then refilm it. And I’ll talk to Rameen about that.

Okay. I just feel like this is adding extra work to you guys. It’s unnecessary. And so again, you know, like the last two podcasts that Josh did, he had to have a conversation with Anastasia, like this is not up to my expectations.

And whereas prior, you know, he had had a lot of success with her matching him up with a great host.

But for some reason, the previous two just did not work and, you know, having the conversation with her was important to Josh so that you wouldn’t have a repeat, you know, of lower quality host.

So something to think about, you guys might want to reach out to her with some feedback because she has asked us her feedback in the past, like, hey,

Uh, no, I go back to one that one. Um, I made some calls out of the CRM. Uh, I will say one thing that came up and one of the notes is like, when the caller ID says pro engineering quote request, I think we should just take the quote request off.

It’s just, I’ve called people on that and then get no answer. And then I just call back on my cell like five minutes later and people answer.

I don’t think it’s kind of just spammy or something like that. Oh, I’m sure. I wouldn’t answer it.

Yeah.

And then also, like, I’m just getting used to it.

I’m not going to lie. I’m playing catch up this morning. I’m going talk to Trish. I still need to download the app for my phone so I can use the phone number for the CRM on my cell and get to text and stuff like that.

But I’ve just been hesitant to really use that so far just because, like, if someone checks me back at the number, like, I’m like, oops, sorry, I’m just not efficient enough at that yet to, you know, stay on top of it right now.

So I’ve still been just using myself. Okay. No, that’s understandable. It just has become part of your process yet.

Yeah. mean, it needs to be. I’ll make the adjustment. That’s necessary. But I just got to get set up with that app and then if we can somehow integrate the Zoom phone where it’s the same number or we just got to change the number and then we’ll just ditch the

Zoom phone eventually, you know, okay, I might see.

So Josh will be back next week for a call. I might see Jimmy can join us. I’m just in case it doesn’t get addressed between now and then we can at least have him on the call to see where he’s at on that to see how much how much he can do.

Do those seem to, are those getting any response or what do you guys think about those?

People are liking him. mean, I think it, I mean, like I said in the beginning, I don’t think it’s the purpose of like lead generation as much as it is like just making it look full.

Right. to a company like them, they’re like, oh, here’s a team. There’s, you know, the people that are on the team and stuff like that.

It’s also a good use of time, like is it or it seems like a pretty simple copy and paste to replace the photo and post it type of thing.

Yeah, absolutely. I think just regular posting is important. It just makes you seem more relevant because sometimes, you know, you get on a social media account and it’s like last post 2021.

You’re like, you know, what’s going on? So whether or not that’s the case, it could just be that, hey, we’re too busy to post on social media.

We’re too busy doing our jobs and making money. It just in this in this climate, it seems that people sort of judge you on your social media presence.

I think when it comes to LinkedIn, you know, just having this consistent post and yeah, I’m looking at like organic impressions on this.

I think that might just mean. your followers are seeing it.

But they’re all like, anywhere between like 200 and like, one has like 460. So it’s just, I mean, there’s another one I put some hashtags organic impressions 1300.

So like, just people just seeing us is just a good thing. know, no one’s gonna message us right away and be like, Oh, God, I have you guys on my project.

But it’s like I said, yeah, just activity level is a is a good thing, you know, agreed. Well, good.

And well, if we need to, I think we had those pretty far out. But if you guys need any help on that, just let me know.

We have some project specific things. I think we’d like to post. We have a little bit of a couple higher profile clients we were working with in our mind, higher profile.

So I’m waiting to get some nice renderings from them and stuff like that, and then get their permission to

Tag them and kind of do like a collaborative post like look at what we did with these guys thing.

Yeah. Um, okay. I think that I’m still working on the tag clouds for you guys. Um Looking at it There I’ve talked to you guys about this.

I think before and Josh just mentioned it just making sure that the keyword Density is where it needs to be that the right words are being used on the page focusing on But so tag cloud is like this collection of keywords and you want your valuable keywords at the beginning of that tag cloud So that’s what i’m focusing on and most of them look good Um, there was an issue that I noticed that i’m having the guys check into i’m not sure um If it’s an issue Sometimes it adds in extra like extraneous weird unrelated word and when we dig

Into it. It’s because of something in the code that’s populating in the tag cloud. So I found some issues on like you’re about page, a handful of pages that I’m having the guys dig into.

So that’s just going to be a work in progress and we’re going to work our way through all of those tag clouds to make sure they’re where they need where they need to be.
