Josh Ramsey
Hey, man.
Roggen
How are you? Good.
Josh Ramsey
I was just grabbing a couple of things here. How was your quiz today? Thursday or Wednesday? Thursday. Thursday. Thursday.
Roggen
Yeah, it’s my Thursday.
Josh Ramsey
Good.
Roggen
So far, I’m trying not to come working space downtown. Oh, yeah. It’s funny. Like the meeting room. It’s literally like a phone booth.
Roggen
You said it while you’re doing your own calls.
Josh Ramsey
Yeah, I tried that. I’m rocking up with Tammy here. I tried that. once and it just never worked for me, it was it was always more of a distraction or a pain in the butt to get to and then get set up and whatever else so I just I and then I put staff in it at one point and that was a pain and worthless because they never wanted to go and if they did go I had to be there and if I wasn’t there they wouldn’t go.
Josh Ramsey
Well tell me what’s up on your side. I’m pulling the budget here. don’t have it up in front of me yet but I’m working on getting it.
Josh Ramsey
Tell me what’s going on on your side and where your things are at in your world.
Roggen
So when I met with Tammy we went over to her bunch of stuff and I think we had a pretty productive maiden and she got a bunch of notes that she’s given to the team.
Roggen
know we talked about lot a lot about social media strategy and different content there. And Mike and Sarah Leener were kind of making some content now.
Roggen
And then they’re gonna start helping make some blog posts put on the website.
Josh Ramsey
So I did hear something about that. And I was talking with Christian about it and he was saying, he was on the call with you, right?
Roggen
So that was a separate meeting. I have a Christian regarding the Facebook ads.
Josh Ramsey
Okay. Yes. And but that was with Mike and you. And you know, he was kind of asking me a little bit, but kind of also sharing and saying to me that he keeps in, Ricky and Tammy keeps sending me links.
Roggen
And I’m like, what the hell are you sending me?
Josh Ramsey
I don’t know what they do. Okay. But I guess he was, I don’t think concerned is the right word, but he was at some level just considering thinking, wanting me to be aware slash ask me nothing bad, but just in general about he felt like there was a major disconnect between what Darmine was thinking and what everyone else was thinking.
Josh Ramsey
I don’t know if you want to speak to that or you feel like it’s talking about her.
Roggen
Yeah, I agree with that. And I kept trying to drive her back onto the topic, but she kept wanting to talk about the emails hitting in the spam box.
Roggen
And so I’ve had a broader conversation with them about that. She wants to still be involved with some of the marketing meetings that way she can learn about it, that way they can understand it more.
Roggen
But right now they’re they’re knowledge. does they don’t have enough knowledge to understand what we’re trying to do and so they can’t see the progress being done and then they can focus on these little details instead of the bigger picture with it.
Roggen
And so I think we’ll have meetings where it’s you and I like usual but we’ll still have certain meetings where we can bring them in and try to educate them a little bit more and get them up to speed especially since they’re running the sales right now.
Josh Ramsey
Okay. Okay well just let me know if something kind of shifts there or I need to be aware of it or work through it.
Josh Ramsey
You know the little details what I’m moving towards unless you tell me you want to do something different the little details of when we go through things like it’s going to spam it’s this it’s that I want to want to push that to Tammy and say Tammy the issue yes it needs to be taken care of
Josh Ramsey
Yes, it’s important, but Tammy agency slash Josh overseeing it. there’s an issue, Tammy’s like my right hand as I always call her of like getting it done and if there’s a problem, you know, tell me.
Josh Ramsey
Then if it’s something bigger like we’re looking at budgets or we’re trying to make decisions and we’re trying to place marketing and doing other things like that, then I want to be more like, okay, you know, this is where we’re at, you know, we need to shift this, this ad working, what’s the user experience and so forth.
Josh Ramsey
So like Christian and I did have a call and he just texted me back. He did give me, I don’t know if you’ve seen an update or not, if he sent me anything, but he said he’s working on the pricing landing page right now.
Josh Ramsey
And then they can push the ads live targeting content and messaging are all done. So it looks like probably today we’ll be able to see it so we can go live today or tomorrow or whenever you want to pull the trigger on it.
Josh Ramsey
I I think the social before I jumped that ship back over But with Tammy as far as like getting the day-to-day stuff done I don’t think you or I need to be other than like hey, this is an issue Tammy You’ll get it done darling says this is an issue great darting tell Tammy You know I mean like let’s not take wrong in time or Josh’s time on something that’s not needed Let’s focus on the bigger pictures for logging and Josh.
Roggen
That’s my feeling. Yeah Mm-hmm Yeah, and so we’re trying to get more Organized on our on our side that way.
Roggen
Not Stealing meetings and wasting time with Topics that we don’t need to discuss or explaining things that you and I are fully well aware of but they’re not and so I’m gonna try to spend more time with them teaching them and educating them on that and then I Think probably what’ll happen is at least once a month we’ll have a meeting with everybody That way we can
Roggen
Give them a status update because something they want to see progress. But I explained to them, I’m like, well, you can’t see progress if you don’t know what you’re looking at.
Roggen
I’m like, progress is happening. I assure you of that.
Josh Ramsey
So out of curiosity, you know, you’re the majority or 100% owner or what’s the like we’re all equal thirds.
Josh Ramsey
Okay. All right. That was a cool couple of things. Yeah, I mean, I think you’re right on. It’s the metric of it’s the metric that you watch, right?
Josh Ramsey
If you don’t know the metric, you don’t know the data, you don’t know the detail, then it’s like, what are you really judging it off of, know?
Josh Ramsey
So that’s definitely, you know, the idea there. So If we want to talk about it and look at it and set some metrics where everybody can sit down and look at it, then we can do a standing report.
Josh Ramsey
I’ve done this with other people. I’m doing it more and more just depends on the personality of the company, as I call it, because the personality, the company is the ownership, leadership, however you want to do it.
Josh Ramsey
But I just did this and I’m working through this with another client where the owner feels at times like he’s not seeing progress from his sales team.
Josh Ramsey
And he doesn’t know how to ask for it to be able to get the progress from the sales team.
Josh Ramsey
And I’m looking at it and saying, I can’t guide you on the budget because the sales team is making progress and I’m aware of what they’re doing and how it works.
Josh Ramsey
But as owners, we get frustrated because we don’t see the progress or we don’t feel it. And it’s there and then like, OK, good.
Josh Ramsey
And then you feel like you take your put off of the employee and all of a sudden they’re not going.
Josh Ramsey
And it’s this ebb and flow and push. And what I’m doing with him that may work with the bear iron team is that we set a staple and a standard of, hey, monthly, we’re going to look at this.
Roggen
And this is the progress we’re looking for.
Josh Ramsey
But there’s a lot of, as you are aware of it, we’re talking about, there’s a lot of inner workings that go within that.
Josh Ramsey
So it kind of becomes like, what do you want the expectation and the reality, but knowing what the expectation is so that the reality can or cannot be there.
Josh Ramsey
So at any point in time that you want to set that with them or have that, you know, working through, then, you know me.
Josh Ramsey
I’m always happy to have one for conversation. I was trying to pull up a couple of things like.
Roggen
I don’t know why I have all these stupid links open, but yeah, so I think we’ve been doing some bigger picture meetings with the company and just trying to identify goals and planning out and part of that discussion was we need to be more organized with our meetings and stop wasting time because it’s like everybody gets involved in every single meeting and it’s like does everybody really need to be there and so well so you’re going to be structuring that then or what’s the plan yeah I’m working with Mike and Darlene so that we can get a structure that works for everybody that way because Mike hates meetings but then some meetings and needs to be in on it’s like when you invite one of them both of them come whether they need to be there or not.
Roggen
But yeah, so we’ll get some figured out there and then I’ll try to, I’m going to work with them to identify like what metrics they want to be seeing from you and your team to know that you’re making progress and all educate them on how those metrics work.
Josh Ramsey
Okay. I was looking at a few things here. I’ll share my screen and then we can move into the budget here.
Josh Ramsey
So the authority score on this is still pretty low. You know, I. I think the reason it’s low mainly is because we’re the back links we haven’t really focused on.
Josh Ramsey
Um, we’ve not really focused on trying to build up those back links. The story of scores is not great above the seat in the twenties, but it’s really back link driven.
Josh Ramsey
Um, you know, the trial will blog post self attack. Well, blogs will, but it’s not just blogs and half.
Josh Ramsey
We have to section off one of our specific team members to work on link building. And I’ve been shifting a little bit on how we’re doing link building in general.
Josh Ramsey
So that way, it’s a, it’s a bit of a different strategy and it’s kind of an internal agency side, but it is a, I mean, sometimes the line,Tamio is laughs and rolls her eyes and gets a little angry whenever I have to talk about this.
Josh Ramsey
But it’s like, there’s a blurry line in between Josh, the CEO of strategic point and Josh, the chief marketing officer and where
Josh Ramsey
Was like what is my task because my task enroll is a bit of both and is both but so on and so forth and it’s you know whatever but the the strategy of building those links is um is a bit different.
Josh Ramsey
I was screwing with this the other day and I got so mad and I still haven’t gone back in and figured it out.
Josh Ramsey
I’m looking at Simrush where my my link build checker is. don’t think it’s gap but let’s look at this first and then I’ll see if I can find it but um this is six months here’s here’s a year um have things slowed down in the last 30 days for you?
Josh Ramsey
Have we been okay?
Roggen
Yeah June was was slow. It was like I mean like we had a momentum and then June just dropped off and now this first.
Josh Ramsey
Bit of July has been really good But yeah, June June was very very slow because very unexpected because last year June was like we couldn’t even keep up With the amount of orders that are coming in Yeah, because it’s like when I look at this when I look at 60 we’re in the green Mm-hmm, but when I look at like the last 28 days we’re in the red Mm-hmm But by something But when I look to performance year over year like I Mean more than doubled than everything, you know saying click through percentage, but our clicks and You know everything is up when I when I run a comparison year every year if I run three months previous period You
Josh Ramsey
We’re still up. Our click-through rate is down a little bit, but we’re still more clicks because we have more impressions.
Josh Ramsey
But then it looked like our 28 days was even further down though. See that? But it’s like our impressions were down, which leads me to believe because of the trend of everything.
Josh Ramsey
No one searched the last month, the last 30 days. So it wasn’t that we did anything wrong, it’s that there’s nothing to win when there’s no bid.
Josh Ramsey
You follow me on that logic?
Roggen
Yes. And that’s kind of how I felt which is general site traffic overall. Like Shopify kind of corroborated that.
Roggen
It was showing just traffic down in general and the phone was calling.
Josh Ramsey
I mean, paid search is still pulled, but if we look at acquisition. I mean, that’s 10% down paid searches up.
Josh Ramsey
So you The market has been, I feel like, has been really shifty and I know the presidential election always as people going crazy in all different directions and this one being even more probably.
Josh Ramsey
But it’s been really weird because the majority over the last, I would say over the last 60 days, my marketing business specifically has gone up but almost every client that I have has had a dip.
Josh Ramsey
Since the whole election crazy has started to really shift and Biden has done his thing and Trump has done more of his thing and everything’s just kind of jumping around.
Roggen
It’s very strange in the shift that I’ve seen. know, it’s interesting you say that because I think a lot of my customers
Roggen
Remember bass is probably a Trump supporter or a Republican, and so when he got, he got convicted on May 31st, and so they probably were like, Oh , well, he’s not going to get in now.
Roggen
So we’re not going to buy, but then after the debate happened, and that was just a huge flop, I feel like, for both sides, they probably felt more inclined to buy.
Josh Ramsey
Yeah, but you know what mean, even on the Monopoly side, you know, I mean, I’ve got one remodeler that is like, you know, top 10 percenters that he does, and then I’ve got another one that’s the bottom 20 percenters, you know, they do the cheap stuff, you know, but people have been coming to me because they’re like, marketing is just not working, which is always the case.
Josh Ramsey
And I work with people because they get so many of them get screwed, like even my chiropractor called me, he’s like business.
Josh Ramsey
It’s been a little bit down and called me and I’m like I walked him through just like basic marketing and said look Don’t dump a bunch of marketing dollars that you don’t know if they’re gonna work like test this try this Right, but it’s it’s kind of the same thing, but I don’t know.
Josh Ramsey
It just it seemed it has seemed Really Really Just shifting I don’t know. I don’t know what it is So search impressions of conversions is that down?
Roggen
I left my freaking reading glasses on an airbag Looks like it’s down and that would make sense for June because it was down
Roggen
I think we’ve been hitting all the months prior to June, we were hitting at least 200,000, maybe even up to 300,000, almost months, then June hit, and we only got 160,000, but this month to date, we’re at 110.
Roggen
So we’re like already caught up to where June was almost. And we’re not halfway there.
Josh Ramsey
I’m having the guys go and check whatever this is, I’m not going to spend our time looking at it, they’ll get back to me on it.
Josh Ramsey
Okay. But impressions look, I mean who kel far down impressions are 30 days over 30 days.
Roggen
So, yeah, that’s quite a bit.
Josh Ramsey
Maybe it’s going to be coming back, but without making a massive shift in the last 30 days. is like we did before, but last shift we did, we went up, we did good with it.
Josh Ramsey
So we didn’t change anything since then. If you recall, we didn’t change anything. So therefore, we would expect that it would continue to go up.
Josh Ramsey
But this is probably not anomaly where it’s like, it went down because there’s no impressions, there’s no conversions, know, search impression share, you know, is basically the same, maybe up.
Josh Ramsey
So in our search impression share, it’s always little bit funky because we turn it off on the weekends, you know, so it definitely drops the staff home.
Josh Ramsey
People keep texting the same person. I’m like, you don’t need to text me three times. will call you back when I have time for knowing.
Josh Ramsey
So I just, I, you know, to me, I look at this and I’m like, there’s not a whole lot that I would want.
Josh Ramsey
The shift on it.
Roggen
No, I think that we let it ride for this month, something just tells me it was political driven.
Josh Ramsey
Did this ever get figured out, Ryan? And I don’t know if this was even updated, I was told that it was for June, but June was 163.
Josh Ramsey
Yeah, right. So then may look 36 April three, four March to 80.
Roggen
Let’s see. June was 163 32. He’s got an extra 300 dollars in there. I don’t know if I’m aware.
Josh Ramsey
Oh, yeah, that number on the right. That’s the right number. I don’t where on his sales call. working with the extra 300.
Josh Ramsey
Yep, 24 orders, that’s correct.
Josh Ramsey
So what’s going on here with this 11 this number still here in June? We chatted about it. couple of weeks ago, I think last I heard you were going to get with some of the team members to figure out why this number was so high of the unknown.
Roggen
Yeah, I think I haven’t I haven’t got through to go with him through the ones that he didn’t mark from memory, but he is supposed to be doing that moving forward.
Roggen
So let me just look at one of his last ones that he did. you
Josh Ramsey
This morning, I randomly watched like two videos from the 90s, like music videos. Like I never get on social media, but I got on Facebook this morning for some stupid reason.
Josh Ramsey
And when I listened and I heard these two songs, and one of them was like words like, I think the song was like, well, words, what would you say if I took those words away, you know what saying?
Josh Ramsey
I don’t know you know that song, I’m not sure if you’re young, but it came out like, it came out like 91.
Josh Ramsey
It was like, what would you say if I took those words away? That’s a little way. I don’t know if you ever heard that.
Josh Ramsey
I got some stupid songs in my head, like rotating through. I’m like… then I almost was like raging into the machine.
Josh Ramsey
Do what they do. what they do.
Roggen
You, I won’t do what you told me. That’s why I arranged for that one. I didn’t know there was a wood stock in the 90s.
Josh Ramsey
And then I saw a documentary on Netflix about it.
Roggen
Can’t believe how bad that went.
Josh Ramsey
Just burned it to the ground. I didn’t know that it had a documentary.
Roggen
I’m going to write that down.
Josh Ramsey
I’m always looking for you to be close up to watch.
Roggen
It’s so funny. The late singer, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, was looking on stage naked playing the guitar. then I can’t remember what band was up there.
Roggen
They may have been like corn. And they were just like raging.
Josh Ramsey
And then everybody just started lighting. thing on fire. I remember I remember that I didn’t go but I remember like hearing about it and reading about it and then they like shut it all down and stuff.
Josh Ramsey
That was funny.
Roggen
Okay, so it looks like he’s started he has started tagging them again but it was up like like he said about okay do you want Ricky to pull one like mid-July or do you want to wait until the end of July and pull it?
Roggen
I’m good with doing them at the end of the month and just having them compile it at the end.
Josh Ramsey
I’m good with that because right now I feel like we at least have a trend where it’s like okay we’ve got March April, May, June and as we have you know four months the thing that it doesn’t tell us right now if it doesn’t tell us what the heck to do right now.
Roggen
Right, you know, yeah, and I can I’ll get down that sheet to I’ll have that to my list to try to go through and just give a second look at eyes with my own data and see I mean, it’s a win.
Josh Ramsey
It’s a win in the direction of correct data. Right.
Roggen
But, um, you know, on being. So being paid. The conversion tracking’s always been funky, but I was in there.
Roggen
Unlike the actual ads.microsoft.com. And it is showing conversions on there, which is good. So I don’t know what the polar report directly from there to get those conversions.
Roggen
And then. something else on Bing is I don’t remember authorizing an increase or directing an increase in budget around April on that but in April it pretty much tripled in budget and if I did and I forgot I hopefully have notes of it and then it increased more this past month so I have a budget of like $500 a month for Bing ads and now it’s like $2,000 or
Josh Ramsey
What month did you say?
Roggen
So in April, it tripled. And then the beginning of June. It had like another thousand dollars. Build to us.
Roggen
And yeah, it just seems like it just all of a sudden started rampantly. Spending in a control.
Josh Ramsey
Okay. Jamie’s going to go back and look. I’m going to jump in. Ricky’s going to give me the updated access for it.
Josh Ramsey
Look at it. Today or tomorrow. Today’s going to be stacked in meetings, but I’ve got open times tomorrow. So Jamie’s going to add it to my notes and my agenda for tomorrow.
Roggen
Okay. Sounds good. then if you can come up with a. decision. I mean, like, I don’t know how effective being is like, you know, like, don’t know if like $1,000 spent at being is the same as $1,000 spent at Google, but I don’t know if we should combine these budgets or how we should handle that.
Josh Ramsey
Well, are we doing partners? Are we doing spending much in search partners? Doesn’t look like so angry that I lost my reading glosses because whenever this crap gets super small, it’s like, that’s four things and 90%.
Roggen
That was search partners that includes like bang and stuff like that.
Josh Ramsey
Yeah.
Roggen
Hmm. I wonder if that’s the way to do it because I wonder if I’m competing against myself. Then. But you say we’re not spending much to the partners program.
Josh Ramsey
Mm hmm. It’s not really affecting us.
Roggen
Okay.
Josh Ramsey
I mean, we’re just getting a little bit here and Google display. So I don’t even know that we’re getting conversions from this plane, can we make them out here?
Josh Ramsey
Okay, auto suggestions were enabled causing Google to automatically apply recommendations. We needed this, we needed This able auto suggestion, I do not recommend keeping settings on.
Josh Ramsey
That will exhaust our budget. Okay, so we’re going to go back in and I didn’t realize that we had auto suggestion on, but that’s what we just saw.
Josh Ramsey
That’s why I brought this up to Ash, my team lead on ads. I’m always doing training with anyone on my team and doing updates and challenging them professionally to say get better.
Josh Ramsey
You know, not beating you, I should be expert with you, but I keep up and prove to me why you hurt on this team, and they always fall.
Josh Ramsey
They always work, which I see the work, but then they fall short, which is fine, as long as I’m seeing them do the work.
Josh Ramsey
But he, he went in and looked at it, he said it’s auto suggestions are enabled, which I don’t like, and he agree, he doesn’t like it either.
Josh Ramsey
So he’s going to go update that and then undo the changes. I don’t know how much of that took place before, because it July is up.
Josh Ramsey
Yeah, they wouldn’t have. It wouldn’t matter when we’re talking about being down in June, it wouldn’t matter the updates, because the updates were applied, starting on July 1.
Josh Ramsey
So it wasn’t in June. It would have affected here in July, but July were, if you’re up on the stage.
Josh Ramsey
And we’re up, but it’ll lose off our budget if it continues to do it. So we’re going to check those and then we’re going to get back.
Josh Ramsey
And then also we’re going to, I’m going to pull a three month report to look at display network for Google Display Network for spin impressions, conversions, and clicks.
Josh Ramsey
And let’s see what we’re at there. If our budget and then I’m going to look at being paid a little more closely and then Taney’s going to look at her notes that she’s going to pull her notes and see if there was anything made.
Josh Ramsey
I know that we, I remember discussing the being budget a while back, but I don’t, I don’t know that we ever came to anything that I remember that we said we were going to increase.
Josh Ramsey
And I think we. I want to say we did say we were going to increase it, but I don’t remember how much or any of those details.
Roggen
She’s going to go back and look. Yeah, and usually if I would increase something like being, you know, especially because it’s not really like over performing or doing anything crazy, the most I would have done would have been double it.
Roggen
So what to spend that right now is definitely out of whatever I would have authorized. But if I did mention that, we did discuss that and she finds out in her notes, please let me know so I can update my budget sheet and know that.
Josh Ramsey
Okay. The other, yeah, I mean, if July is bouncing back, but June was down, I guess the bigger question really would be what you forecasted.
Josh Ramsey
Maybe you want to start a new sheet here and do a forecasting sheet. So just have. what what you forecasted for the year and then we can so like maybe we just start another sheet maybe in the overview and then we just do if we just did a simple sheet like this then this would kind of help us know
Josh Ramsey
Because this, I can, excuse me, I can pull June on our spend because that’s really June, transpose, and here, transpose, and here, here, so I don’t know what you set.
Roggen
Okay.
Josh Ramsey
Sorry. Um, this will at least give us something here to know where we’re at on that.
Roggen
Okay.
Josh Ramsey
And then. That’ll, that’ll, you know, help us obviously quite a bit in knowing where we’re at in the sales world.
Josh Ramsey
You And we can work from there. I’m not gonna update this yet until we have the actual data working here, especially with this unknown.
Josh Ramsey
So if you have the team go back and figure this out, great. If you don’t, we just need to make sure in July.
Josh Ramsey
like you said, if you’re doing it, we just need to make sure in July we are doing it. And then we can work from there.
Josh Ramsey
If these numbers are not accurate, I think Ricky said he was gonna look at it.
Roggen
Okay.
Josh Ramsey
I don’t know, don’t don’t know, don’t Would the other months correct or were they off too?
Roggen
Yeah, Andre, I think May have got nailed down. Okay, please. I remember on I remember on May, can you go back to May real quick?
Roggen
Okay, so we need to get the other six put back in there. That’s good. Yeah, that’s shaping up good.
Roggen
Looks like.
Josh Ramsey
Okay, Rick, he’s looking into it. He’ll get back with me again a little bit as to why. June is off.
Josh Ramsey
I took a snapshot. He’s looking at it. He’s already got me that access to being. Then I didn’t have saved in my files.
Josh Ramsey
So I’ll get in there and jump into that and look at it. And then. If you can just look in update, maybe if you have a forecast, if you don’t, maybe just throw a soft one together in it.
Josh Ramsey
And then in sales, I guess we can just do the sales. can update May. But at least if we can know if we can continue to build this out and know where we’re trying to get, you know, and what we’re discussing and then break it down closer and closer.
Josh Ramsey
And then, um, let me see it teeny. Yeah. Yeah. I’m going to have Ricky jump in here with us for just a second.
Josh Ramsey
On that way he’s on the same basis. of what we’re doing. So he doesn’t does these updates. I’m going to have him go January, February, and then if he does, June, I can update this even if it gets updated later.
Josh Ramsey
We need like an anthem song when Ricky enters the Zoom. It’s like, it’s Ricky, Ricky, Hey, Ricky, just real quick.
Josh Ramsey
This is the spreadsheet that we were talking about. I know you’re going to go back and look at this and see why there’s $300 more here versus actual.
Josh Ramsey
Um, because this number is where We’ve been looking at the actual and this number is what is showing from our spreadsheet and sales and it matches in May.
Josh Ramsey
It matches in April. It matches in March, so I’m going to put you on me for a minute. You got some background noise.
Josh Ramsey
So those look fine. Then on overview, I turned this into a transpose. So this will be pulled over automatically.
Josh Ramsey
April, May, June, June. then when we do July, we’ll load those in and then I’m running a total over on this side.
Josh Ramsey
We’re going to run a forecast for Rogan and I to be able to see. So he’s going to get the forecast and then we’re going to look at actual and then I’ll update the result.
Josh Ramsey
Math. One thing I’d like for you to do is go back and pull sales for us. Pull January and February when you’re figuring out June.
Josh Ramsey
Pull January and February. I don’t need a tab. Just create it just put the number in there for me and then Roggan Ricky you should be able to pull You don’t we don’t have we won’t have the crazeless the Mount Roggan you’ll have to give that to us of whatever was spent but Ricky pull Google being And I don’t think we did Facebook, but look for Google being and then add nine hundred to it for Google organic And then give us those numbers also here in January February That’s all I need you to do so just basically pull this and you don’t have to finish it today But just find my Monday morning before our call with Roggan need to have that done.
Josh Ramsey
So So let’s throw that those numbers in there, make sure that this is up to date. I’ll create these formula.
Josh Ramsey
Okay. Okay. think that’s it. was just easier for me to have you jumped in. Okay. Anything else we need to get from Ricky that I missed?
Ricky
Um, not that I can think of. Okay. Generally interpret pricing. I’m not going to create a tab. So I can get these number from Shopify then, right?
Josh Ramsey
Yeah, correct.
Ricky
Okay, I did update that.
Josh Ramsey
Okay, all right, I’ll see you here. right. We’re all gonna anything else that we need to go through.
Roggen
Um, no, nothing I can think of. Okay. Oh, yeah. Jimmy is like, unresponsive. And I mean, I’ve been, he told me two weeks.
Roggen
I got out to get this number going like two months ago. And it’s like the finish line. It’s right here and the numbers right there.
Roggen
We just got to figure out how to get it from my Twilio account into the CRM. And I just, I haven’t heard anything from him.
Roggen
Tammy’s emailed him. just got to put some pressure on him. He’s, he’s nice guy and all, but he seems like he needs a kick in the a lot of the time.
Josh Ramsey
And then it was flip of a coin of where you put it. You don’t. I probably would put it as the CMO guy, I would put it more on when we actually did it.
Josh Ramsey
The CPA is going to say, when did we spend it? And I’m going to when did we report it?
Josh Ramsey
What happened? Because in the marketing world, I want to look at I didn’t say, Hey, man, we had all these visitors, we had all this traffic.
Josh Ramsey
We had all these say, what did we do that month? And if we don’t have it recorded in the marketing budgeting, then we’re not going to know what we did.
Josh Ramsey
That was so phenomenal. know, so that’s, that’s how I look at it is. I’d rather put it in the marketing budget to say this is when we’re doing it, you know, and you can.
Josh Ramsey
Because I’ve done plenty of budgets where it’s like you’d put it down payment in January, you do the show in November, and you make your final payment in November.
Josh Ramsey
But then you also project out like what we’re going to spend for the show. So I don’t ultimately, I don’t really care, but I want to just make sure that anything we do for the show, we have budgeted out ahead of time.
Josh Ramsey
Hey, we need to have whatever material banners, flyers, whatever it’s going be. So, okay. When is the show?
Roggen
When are you doing it? We’re doing the world asphalt in March of 25. And then we’re going to try the utility Expo again next year in September 25.
Josh Ramsey
Where does the last show we did?
Roggen
We felt like we had good leads, but we failed on follow-up. What’s the deal with them? The world of asphalt is in St.
Roggen
Louis. And then the. Where’s the utility? Actually, it’s in Louisville, Kentucky again.
Josh Ramsey
Okay. Okay. I’ll look at the get closer. I’ll look at my travel schedule. may slide out to one of them for just like half a day or something.
Josh Ramsey
Like walk around and look at everything and see what they have.
Roggen
So.
Josh Ramsey
Okay. We’ll check it out. So. All right. Cool. We will talk Monday. There’s anything else, Richie and Taney will get these other.
Josh Ramsey
This is updated, um, I’ve sent out on the notes and we’ll talk later.
Roggen
Sounds good. All right. We’ll see you, bud. Take care. Right.
